The International "Philosophy and Film" Conferenceis a biennial gathering of scholars across diverse fields, brought together by the Philosophical Society of Macedonia (PSM), to delve into the confluence of philosophy and film. The conference, which premiered in 2021, serves as a prelude to the renowned Philosophical Film Festival (PFF) and seeks to foster interdisciplinary discussions and exchange of ideas among participants.

The Philosophical Society of Macedonia (PSM)has been promoting philosophy and its teaching in the Republic of Macedonia for over 60 years, with its current form established in 2003.

The Philosophical Film Festival (PFF)— now in its 13th year — began as a modest student-led initiative, and has since grown into a transdisciplinary event that showcases films exploring philosophical themes, values, and ideas.
