Nemanja Mićić
The Language of Film

Nemanja Mićić is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. He obtained his doctoral degree in Philosophy from the same institution in 2019. His academic interests lie in the fields of language philosophy, contemporary philosophy, philosophy of art, philosophy of media, and aesthetics.

Mićić is a member of the Aesthetics Society of Serbia and has been actively involved in teaching various courses at the undergraduate and master’s levels. Some of the subjects he teaches include Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Art, Philosophy of Media, and Epistemology of Media.

Mićić has published several professional and scientific papers, including his doctoral dissertation titled “Narrative Method in Contemporary Philosophy of Language.” He has also written articles on the narrative method as a linguistic activity, the importance of Walter Benjamin’s ideas, and various aspects of philosophers like Wittgenstein, Aristotle, Nietzsche, and Gianni Vattimo.
